Lyttelton Boatique House provides breathtaking views without the challenge of steep terrain, offering a flat, single-level living space with easy access to Lyttelton’s cafes, bars, and markets. Experience live entertainment, harbor activities, hiking, biking, and secluded beaches, all within a short distance. Take a ferry ride to Diamond Harbour or enjoy views from the Gondola. Two surfing beaches, Sumner and Taylors Mistake, are just minutes away, and downtown Christchurch is only a 20-minute drive. The house is the perfect base for exploring New Zealand’s South Island, with easy access to niche shops and historical sites like the Tannery.

Guest Access
Access the property easily with a keypad code. The host, Frances, usually welcomes guests personally and is available next door to ensure a pleasant stay.

Lyttelton, just 13 minutes from Christchurch city center and 30 minutes from the airport, offers a unique charm, reminiscent of Europe. Take scenic routes via Cashmere Hills or Sumner for an enhanced experience. The host may be next door in a studio, available to assist as needed.

Go on be adventorous and experience Glamping in Luxury in the most gorgeous boatshed themed outdoor bathroom, The apartment is 26 squares meters with the bedroom separated by a exquisite antique screen, a small kichinette, stunning habour/marina views from the kitchnette, deck and stone courtyard. Attached to Lyttelton Boatique House also available to rent, you may see or hear other guests. Lyttelton is a working port so if a quiet country retreat is what you are looking for, keep looking.

The space

Glamping in Luxury at Lyttelton Boatique House is 26 square meters, and the outdoor bathroom is 5 square meters. The kitchinette has a fridge, small freezer compartment, coffee machine and tea making facilities and is equiped with dinining utensils and crockery. The bedroom area is separated by and gorgeous antique screen, and has a lovely private courtyard to look out on. There is a stunning habour/marina view to be seen from the Kitchenette, small deck and stone courtyard. Lyttelton is a working and the apartment is right next door to Lyttelton Boatique House, so you may or see or hear other guests. The apartment is not totally sound proof, but I have never had my sleep interrupted. The stay at Glamping in Luxury will take your breath away, the boatshed bathroom is Magic.

Guest access

Entry is through the louvre fence and gate by key pad access, then key access to the appartment, key accessed from lock box. Both codes will be provided prior to arrival. There is a small private courtyard outside the bedroom, a small deck outside the kitchenette, and a stone courtyard in front of the boatshed bathroom, with a out door dinning area.
